Frequently Asked Questions
What are the benefits?
Cabin filters primarily protect the heating & air conditioning system from any environmental debris from coming inside. As small objects catch themselves through the grill as you drive your vehicles, they tend to sneak their way through, eventually getting sucked into the vents which can potentially cause further damage to the ventilation system unit. Sometimes when you turn on the heating/air-conditioning system, you can hear a continuous clicking/twitching sound; make sure you check the cabin filter as it is most likely to be a twig or leaf that has been trapped between the fan and the cabin filter. The secondary benefit of cabin filters is the freshness and cleanliness of the air that gets filtered through the outside of the vehicle to the inside. Generally speaking, the higher quality filter you use, the better the air filtration you get.
How does it clean the air?
Depending on the design and type of cabin filter you purchase; each has its own distinct element designed for a particular purpose. The generic OEM cabin filters that come with the vehicle are generally a cotton and paper material blend which is cheap simple solution, but obviously doesn’t do too much in terms of air filtering performance. This is why when you drive behind an old vehicle you can smell the nasty toxic exhaust fumes, which leaves you no choice but to press the recycle air button. Whereas the higher-quality filters use better quality cotton, fiber glass and activated carbon. Each element has its own unique filtration purpose and as the air passes through the properties of each element, it restricts and filters the air particles, trapping the large atoms and hence filtering out the bad unwanted contaminates.
Where are the filters made?
Engineered and designed in Australia, manufactured in China.
How do I install the filter?
Most cabin filters are installed in a slot behind the glove box on the passenger side. However, depending on the make and model of your vehicle, this can vary. Best to Google or Youtube the exact make and model of your vehicle, otherwise, just send us a message with your inquiry and one of our lovely team members will get back to you.
How long does it last?
Our filters are electrostatically charged, which means the more often you use your heating/air-conditioning system, the longer the electrostatic elements stay effective. This electrostatic element of the filter has been specifically designed for those with allergies and can last for up to 6 months. Otherwise, the activated carbon and HEPA elements of the filter are designed to be effective for up to 18 months. Overall, it is recommended these filters get replaced every 12 months to maintain maximum effectiveness.

Very different and a unique design. However it was super easier to install on my Kia.
As soon as I held the filter to install it, the quality differences are dramatic obvious. Really impressed with the quality of the filter.
